I don’t know what it looked like before but it looks great now.

The ’sanctuary’ was very pleasant before, though I always thought that the pews were uncomfortable. The rest of the building was a bit of a shambles: various rooms had been added during the history of the church without any overall plan, and the entrance at the back of the church (which was the one most used mid-week) was dark and unwelcoming. The scheme has completely transformed the place in line with the church’s vision to be a place of welcome. It was really quite thrilling to see.

A quick question: is there room to both get behind the Table and distribute the elements in front of it? I can’t tell from the photo. It all looks absolutely wonderful, I would be utterly delighted to have it as a church in my Circuit (when I’m finally in one!), but I do get uncomfortable with Tables that do not allow for presiding behind - unless Methodism wishes to re-adopt presiding “facing East” with your back to the congregation, of course?!
As said, the place looks wonderful, and the church are truly blessed in being able to use such a wonderfully refurbished building - thanks for sharing

I’m sure the answer is yes, but I didn’t actually look very hard.
When you come to be looking for a circuit, you could do worse than Swansea & Gower!
