Paperwork 2: The Admin Strikes Back

by Richard on May 28, 2004

Do you remember that a little while ago I was whingeing about paperwork?

Well, I suppose there’s no reason why you should. It was a bit “cryptic”. Some things can’t be talked about in a public space like this. The issue that prompted the whingeing hasn’t gone away. In fact, it has got worse. Much worse. It has stalked my week like a gigantic stalking thing. People ringing me up saying “We don’t know what’s happening - tell me what’s happening!” — but only after they’ve been on the phone to those to whom I’m responsible, meaning that they know as much as I do. I mean, WHAT’S THE POINT!!!

Forgive me shouting, but the end of my tether was passed long ago. Should my tether and I ever be reunited, I plan to take that tether and use it.

I love being a minister. But sometimes, being a Superintendent sucks like a Dyson.

Richard, I think you need a sabatical. I promise I will pray for you tonight.

It’s funny you should say that Selina - I should have started this week. Maybe next week? I’ll write something about my sabbatical - that’ll be a good way to kick it off.
I appreciate your prayers.

Can you get an assistant trained tout de suite?

Wow!! What an old out of touch antique I am. I had to go to google search to find out what a Dyson was. In your list of the top ten songs, the only one I had ever heard was, Imagine, by John Lennon
