“Defending family, faith and freedom”

by Richard on September 21, 2012

Last night, I was given a flyer for a local event being organised by The Christian Institute. Topics will include homosexual marriage, freedom of speech and religious liberty. Apparently the event will offer “simple and powerful ideas to help you make a stand for the truth”.

I wonder if Christians with a different perspective will be welcome at the meeting?

Forget a different perspective, different topics would be nice.

I agree, of course.

The question is, shall I go to this meeting to remind them that
a. not all Christians agree with them on this, and
b. there are other topics of greater urgency

Well, if you can get along easily, then you should go for it! ;-)

“Defending” here is Orwellian for for “exploiting”.
