Katrina’s wake

Harvey Jackson

The scale of the destruction caused by hurricane Katrina is horrifying, but it is the stories of individuals such as Harvey Jackson that really brings home what an event like this means. Pray for him and his family. As we lift him before God, we pray too for those who remain unknown to us.

“Lord, in your mercy
Hear our prayer”

“We have nowhere to go. I’m lost, that’s all I had, that’s all I had. I don’t know what I’m going to do.”

I too will pray, Richard. I will pray that he will get the help he needs to survive. I will also pray that he will find the only answer in life, which is in Jesus Christ alone.
