Since when has Swansea been ugly?

I’m with Ruth here- who said Swansea was an ugly city. And I think, considering some of the pics you’ve posted here, you’ve more than proved otherwise.
Nice one though, love the sunlight through the trees!

Leaping to Mike’s defence: No less an authority than Dylan Thomas, who famously described Swansea as an “ugly, lovely town”. Something like that, anyroad.

Thanks Richard! And I was referring to the built environment, not the surrounding landscape. It has some reasonable features, and they’re making efforts now. But, to be honest, it’s a town planner’s nightmare.
Still, a great place to live.
