I’m safely returned from a half-term break spent in North Wales, much refreshed despite what seemed a very long journey back. We’ve received October’s monthly average rainfall in the last few days, and haven’t we known about it! North/South routes in Wales are fairly narrow and twisty, making driving a bit interesting when it is dark and raining. But all’s well that ends well.
I’ve got a fair bit of email nad stuff to catch up with, but I’ll be on to that tomorrow. For now, it’s bedtime.

Welcome home. Glad it was a good break. There’s still 4 days of Half Term!

Okay, for those of us who live outside the UK, what is this Half Term stuff and how do we get it here in the States so we can go for a nice relaxing trip as well?

It’s a quaint British custom, Ivan, of having a one week break half way through the school term (or semester, if you’d rather). I’m not sure how you’d get it there in the States. Adopt a cute li’l accent and pretend to be British, maybe?!

Hm, I have the German accent and I still don’t get the time off that they do in Germany
