See, I tried to do this, but got bored of having to convert from imperial to metric……. how many kilometers per litre does my car do…. as if I can be bothered to work thwa….. ooo, the back of my hand is covered in blood…. what have I banged it on…..???

18, i.e. 4.1 planets needed.
The thing for the car was easy for me, I just put in the make, model, year, and “miles per gallon” into Google and up came a page with the specs. Took less than a minute.

Malc - this might help. With the conversions, that is, not with the cut hand. Best thing for a cut is some cobwebs.
Mine’s 1.5 apparently - I guess it’s ordering most of my food from Abel and Cole that’s making the difference, plus the fact that I’m too inept to learn to drive!

Beth, is that 1.5 instead of my 18 or is it 1.5 planets needed? The first would be highly surprising!
I’m not driving either, but I’m getting rides often, and being a passenger counts same as driving… Are you able to walk or take the bike to most places, Beth?
I’m not familiar with Abel and Cole. What kind of place is it?

Abel and Cole are online here - I just had my second delivery from them today.
No, just 1.5. I was surprised, too! I sometimes take the bus, but mainly I walk. Plus I live in student housing - one bathroom between eight people, two kitchens, and one bedroom each. And most of what I eat is fruit and vegetables from A&C which comes almost entirely unpackaged. Still, I don’t think of myself as being particularly environment-conscious, so I guess it’s quite encouraging.
