The Dave Walker Guide to the Church

by Richard on August 2, 2006

Dave Walker has hit the big time, winning a lucrative publishing deal. Sources suggest that there is already significant interest in movie rights to the book. Russell Crowe and Bruce Willis are both being tipped for the part of the author in what is expected to be a whimsical but violent summer blockbuster in 2008. Remember - you heard it here first.

In the meantime, you can buy a copy of his book direct from SCM or from Amazon.co.uk

I’ll certainly be buying one. Any plans to flog signed copies, Dave?

Crowe and Willis - what about Mel Gibson? I can see it now: The Passion of the Cartoonist, with copies of Dave’s second book on sale: The Dave Walker Guide to Anti-Semitism. :)

This has got to be one of the funniest comments I’ve ever heard from Bruce Willis:

“I’m a man and I will beat up anybody who tries to tell me that I’m not a man just because my hair’s thinning…”

Talk about some severe insecurities! Ya gotta love Bruce!

Russell Crowe says he is getting too old to be an action hero? I didn’t see that one coming. He’s an awesome action hero in his movies. Hope this doesn’t mean he is going to stop being in those type of films.
