How many have your name?

But if you Google “Richard Hall”, I’m the one who comes out on top. :-)

There are 21 Eugene McKinnons in the U.S. Continued proof that Carl Jung’s collective unconscious is true.

Blessings,

Eugene

There is only one Kim Fabricius. The rest are imposters.

Not only do you come top of the Richard Halls, Richard - in a sense you come top of the Olive Morgans list! There are 53 Olive Morgans in the USA but I come top - under the link to http://www.the Connexion! Just proves that you can’t keep a good Richard Hall down!

Olive - what can I say? ;)

Kim - I put you in the search box and it said that there weren’t any Americans called Fabricius. Don’t tell your family!

There are 4 of me in the whole of the US.

Imagine that!

According to this website, there are zero people in the US with my married name and one person in the US with my maiden name. Both surnames are quite unusual.

If I do a Google, however, I’m fairly certain I find two different people with my maiden name.

There were a little over 14,000 of me, but as Kim says, the rest are imposters.

A same name anecdote:

I travel for a living, and had just checked into a hotel in Las Vegas one night, when my phone rang (we have a hotel check-in procedure that permits other employees to see who’s staying there). I answered, and a woman’s voice said “J?”. I said yes, a little confused, so she continued. “Is this the J with (insert employer name)?”, to which I responded “I’m one of them. You are aware there are at least four of us, right?”(all four of whom are married, TTBOMK). She hung up instead of answering.

There are 2 ministers in British Methodism called Richard Hall, which can be confusing…

Do they pay you for travelling, J or do you have to do something on arrival? ;)

There are only five of me.

Carroll Sickles 10.24.06 at 2:49 pm

I find that there are no people in the U.S. with my name. I don’t exist!!!

Richard 10.24.06 at 3:19 pm

I wonder how many people will be sharing Carroll’s existential crisis? The web can be a powerful thing!

Jen 10.24.06 at 4:11 pm

There are 2 people with my full name, but if I use ‘Jen’ (and my surname), which is really only a shorted there aren’t any in the whole of the US! Wow, I feel unique.

Kim,

I came across a Kim Fabrizius who happened to be Lutheran Church Missouri Synod pastor and I doubt he’s your imposter, more like your bizarro equivalent.

Interestingly a couple of years back I found a book that quoted your ancestor who wrote on the theology of water.

Hi Eugene.

Yeah, I know about that guy. But surely a different clan: a real Fabricius would have written a theology of wine, not water! :)

Richard (the Third) 10.24.06 at 7:09 pm

There’s 29 of me, unless you shorten my name to Richie, in which case there aren’t any.

Always remember you’re unique, just like everyone else.

Beth 10.24.06 at 10:10 pm

There’s one of me. I want to find her!

11, 553. And I’m not top on Google. I don’t think I’m in the top 5000.

“Do they pay you for travelling, J or do you have to do something on arrival?”

I’m a pilot, so I guess they pay me for traveling. I have to do stuff on arrival, but by arrival I mean descent from cruise altitude.
