Very brave… but the wetsuit’s cheating. I’m in Suffolk at my parents’ and the local news tonight showed people going in off the east coast in a lot less than you’re wearing…
I’m sure it was lovely though - Caswell’s one of my favourite beaches. We’re planning a New Year’s Day walk on a beach when we’re back in Wales
Rick - the cafe was open, and I was sipping hot chocolate just as soon as i got my trousers on. The feeling in my feet returned after about an hour!
Alice - Cheating??? I’m a bit of a wuss about getting in the sea even in the summer, so I reckon I was way beyond the call of duty. Ruth was very keen to go for a swim.
Ha ha ha, southern nancies complaining about how cold it looks - why up here in Scotland sees the loony dook in January (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/4573906.stm) where wetsuits are not allowed.
Looks like a smashing day out Richard at a rather nice location…

Well Richard, it’s nice to see you’ve got a helper to carry your ‘boogie board’ but don’t you think it’s a tad cool outside for such frolic?
Cheers! And go drink something warm!
Rick

“Bracing”? I’d call it idiotic! You look like some weird new life-form, quite unintelligently designed, emerging from the primal sea!

Brrr - you’re making me shiver just looking at the photo!

Kim - I shall ignore you completely.
Jen - go make yourself a hot chocolate!
