Wales gets new trains

by Richard on April 28, 2008

Good news for the rail service in Wales. A new service began operating today between Wrexham and London, the first in 41 years.

I’m particularly pleased about this because I’ll be moving to Wrexham in the summer, but any new rail service has to be good news. I hope it’s a success.

Pity that the first one broke down though!

A minor technical hitch! I’m sure we’ll get trains that actually work soon.

Yes, they’re getting their own stock eventually, and there should be a good demand for the service. I think I’ve been hanging around train anoracks for too long! (you know who I mean!).
