I got to a minute-and-a-half and the third heaven (that’s “third” with an Irish accent), and I saw that I had almost twenty-five minutes still to go. “Awesome” as it was, I had a choice: stop watching or slit my wrists. Some of you may be sorry to hear that I stopped watching.

No stamina, some people.

I don’t believe it! I stop watching god channel and everything kicks off - oh well my wife is going to feel deserted this evening.

An elevator to the heavens eh?
Does it stop at the first and second heaven?
Kim if you get the Sword of the Lord in your belly you won’t need to slit your wrists.
Remember when Bob Jones was turfed from The Vineyard for sexual improprity? He had women strip so they could ’stand naked before the Lord.”
A round temple? Charming. Anyone know if they have a round prayer centre like Oral Roberts does?
Notice the lovely southern preacher accent Bentley gets when it suits him?

Interesting video.
Quick note. The Bob Jones here isn’t affiliated with the Bob Jones U folks; he’s a part of the Kansas City Prophet crew and works the charismatic circuit. The good fundamentalists at BJU wouldn’t touch this namesake with a ten-foot pole.

Know why the temple’s round? So when the offering plate is passed no one can hide in the corners.

There are lots of good ideas in all these talkings . It seems to me that we need to go back to the Bible and check up these “new ideas” in the light of God’ word…pray and pray, The Holy Spirit is our real good teacher

Rom 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
2Cr 11:13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness

Amen, Joe. I would add, and you would probably agree, that we need to trust the Spirit as opposed to our own flesh. Like you said God’s Word and prayer are the true measures. I mentioned on another post that the “fruit” of the message is another thing.

Wow! We have an awesome God! To think that He would want to commune with us so much that we are invited into the actual presence of the Lord. We need to realize that God is bigger than our minds can wrap themselves around. Our relationship with God is by faith. Ask the One true God to encounter you in an awesome way.

To Resting 27 of the previous Todd Bentley blog;
Enough of the Rick Joyner / Morning Star Ministries babble. Joyner is an heretic! Deluded and delirious with arrogance, Joyner spews his extra biblical, experiential, spiritualistic rhetoric. In his book “The Final Quest” Joyner implies that his dreams, visions and out of body experiences are superior to Scripture. He truly IS a false “prophet!” [profit]Joyner also believes in the super liberal Third Wave / New apostolic Reformation / Kingdom Now theology thereby supporting his belief in the errant theory of and belief in the corrupt idea of the regeneration and restoration of the office of authentic Apostle for today. This rhetoric is wrong because, to qualify as a true, foundational, Jesus Christ chosen and appointed Apostle, one has to have actually witnessed the true physical life of Jesus AND witnessed Him in physical Resurrection before the Ascension. Not some counterfeit dream but the real Son of God! The Twelve were and are the ONLY true Foundational Apostles ever to be! With the exception of Saul/Paul who had documented witnesses to verify the Damascus road event, (and every authentic Apostle met these criteria.) Anyone who claims to represent or attempts to restore the office of the foundational Apostle is a liar and a fake and if they don’t confess and repent, they will go to hell as false prophets! Without documented verification, hyper exaggerated, emotionally driven dreams, visions and delusions of grandeur do not qualify as authentic revelation from God. The true, authentic, foundational Apostles actually saw and walked physically with the authentic Son of God as witnesses to His authenticity as the genuine Son of God. This was a prerequisite to becoming a TRUE Apostle of Jesus Christ. The office of authentic Apostle has served it’s purpose. The purpose of the foundational Apostle, personally chosen of Jesus Christ was to lay the foundation for the New covenant Church that Jesus sealed with His Substitutionary death, burial and Resurrection. There are men today who are delierous enough to imagine that they are actually superior to the REAL Apostles. I pity the poor fools for their self glorification and foolishness. In his book “The Final Quest” Joyner elevates himself and his experiences, dreams, visions, delusions of grandeur and necromancy to a “higher level” of spirituality and significance than that of the chosen Apostles of Jesus Christ who witnessed His miracles and life and wrote the Holy Spirit inspired Scriptures. By his own admission Joyner claims to have witnessed (In a fallible dream) that he actually went several “levels” higher than that of the genuine, Holy Spirit lead writings of the GENUINE Apostles. Where do we ever read of different “levels” in Scripture? No where! Not only does Joyner portray himself in delusions of grandeur, he actually suggests himself to be something higher than Jesus Christ the only Son of God! He writes in his book; “Immediately the entire host of heaven seemed to stand at attention, and I knew that I was the center of their attention!” How grandiose! How arrogant of this poor fellow! Joyner actually sees himself at the center of creation and attention! Now who does that sound like? Does Satan come to mind? There is only ONE who every knee shall bow and every tongue confess. . . Jesus Christ the living Son of God! There is only one to whom ALL will stand to attention! Jesus Christ the living Son of God! NOT Mr. Joyner! Through out his book Mr. Joyner elevates his importance in the relevance of spiritual significance.. It’s Ricks experience that supersedes all of history! It’s Ricks perception of biblical events, Interpreted by Rick, inspired by Rick that dictates our beliefs and subsequently our behavior! Without Rick, we’re all lost! If you disagree with Rick you are falling away and bound for hell! If you ask Biblical questions you’re a troublemaker. Well Rick. . . .Call your god to send me to hell right now! I challenge you Rick! (Or maybe you want to get Benni Hinn to blow my head off with his holy spirit machine gun! LOL!!! How lame!) I will NEVER submit to you or your “authoritah” feeble little man!
I wonder how Mr. Joyner confirmed his delusions of grandeur as the inspired influence of the true God? How does Mr. Joyner know that what he was experiencing, dreaming or viewing was NOT a counterfeit spirit? Perhaps Mr. Joyner has had as close a walk with Jehovah as Elijah and Elisha did! Perhaps Rick had a closer walk with God than did the authentic Apostle Paul! Perhaps King David is jealous of Rick the same way the Apostle Paul is!
Tell me something Resting 27. . . .If we were mandated, as the contemporary apostles of today would like us to believe, that we need to have authentic Apostles today as we did at the time of Jesus Christ and throughout history since the resurrection of Jesus Christ, why didn’t the true Apostles welcome BOTH Mathias AND Barsabas? Why weren’t we told to add to the number of Apostles daily as needed? The “apostholes” of today are only interested in establishing power for themselves, setting themselves up as the ultimate authority of all of Christendom. They meet once a year and honer themselves and appoint their friends as fellow apostholes. (For a fee that is!) Tell me. . . .What were the annual dues that Mathew or John paid? How much did it cost them to become an Apostle? Did they advertise as the ICoA (International Coalition of aposhotles) does? Tell me. . . Who was the ” Apostolic Leader who confirmed and anointed and appointed Paul?” Tell me how Paul “Networked” the Synagogues and home churches in an attempt to form the dominant church necessary for Christs return in anticipation of Jesus Christ’s eminent return? Or. . . How has Mr. Joyner been persecuted for his faith? How poor is Mr. Joyner? Jesus hadn’t a place to rest His head and told the rich young ruler to “Give all to the poor and follow Me.” Mat. 19:23. What is different today than it was when Jesus walked among us? yet uberprophet evangelist Ken Copeland lays in the lap of luxury in his compound with five or so jets worth over 22 million dollars! I can’t wait to see the look on Ken’s face as he is tossed into hell! LOL
The authentic Apostles believed, as Jesus said, to be ever watchful for His return didn’t they? So one must think that, if they believed what Jesus Christ said, if Jesus were coming soon, they would have prepared diligently. . . .Right? If the authorized Apostles had behaved as the apostholes of today they would have believed that there had to first be a new “dominion kingdom” established before Jesus could return, the genuine Apostles would have began “Networking” and manipulating unsuspecting churches into their web of deceitful unity.
Let me ask you Resting 27;
Why do we need (as Joyner, Bickle,Cain, Warren, Wagner and the rest of the arrogant hoard suggest) something new? What’s wrong with Sola Scriptura?
Who has given any of these “Ministers” the authority to “Lead” (LOL) and teach as they do? (They give themselves pseudo authority!)
When do any of these “Super apostles” ever support their visions, dreams, out of body experiences and necromancy with Scripture that isn’t taken out of context?
Tell me if you can. . . .If God is unchanging why do we need a “New apostolic Reformation?” Why do we need anything new at all unless we are a part of the great falling away that we read about in
Tell me if you can. . . .If God is unchanging why doesn’t Acts 1:1-4 read 1When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. [ And many fell on their backs as though dead although their hands quivered violently from side to side beside their faces. Some, under the power of the Holy Spirit began roaring as lions, others as elephants and still others as roosters. . . There were those who meowed as house cats also. Some shouted at Satan while punching at the air while others twirled the evening away in dance. Paul spoke and asked the assembly to sow a seed of faith into the Apostles treasury of the now, new fertile soil of the Pentecost season of new blessing and prosperity!] Kinda hits home doesn’t it? Fakes!
Remember. . . Jesus came and glorified His Father. These men glorify themselves.
We are asked to believe these men because they share their own, unsubstantiated questionable thoughts, dreams and perceived visions. If you question them you are ordered to “Touch not the Lord’s anointed!” Well. . . .I had a vision when I read your post Resting 27. .
When I read your post the Lord showed me a picture of Rick Joyner responding in the name of Resting 27. If it wasn’t you Rick I would suggest Resting 27 to go back to Morning Star where he belongs. If it was you Rick. . . .and I think this likely. . . Have the courage to identify yourself and answer to the true Bereans of the end times. I challenge you Rick! ! ! What do you think you can do to me? You have no authority over me but that which God has given you and by what I see . . . .God has very little to do with what you are up to!
Sola Scriptura!!!!! Truth to you boy! I’ll be praying for you.

I came out of this movement a few years ago, and now watching this video brings the entire mindset back to me. The doctrine and practice of these 3 is so typical of the movement, and it’s so typically anti-Biblical. Did you hear when Bob Jones was talking about the tower that reaches up to the heavens and people can go up and down in it every day? Doesn’t that sound like the Tower of Babel to you? And I’ve heard it referred to in a positive light many times before. And they make it sound like if you read your Bible for direction that you’re from the old paradigm, and those who get into this rhema revelation stuff are God’s new elite guard. They use Bible passages like someone might glue a cloth swatch onto a collage, but when you pull back and look at the finished work, it’s an ugly thing. My question to anyone involved in this movement is: Can you find any of this in the Bible without isolating a verse or twisting it from the original context and intent of the passage? Or is it all just a matter of closing your eyes, jumping into the river, and letting it carry you away into new revelations
