Here’s a fun little look at Methodist history:

I got this via gavoweb on twitter, clearly proving that micro-blogging tool’s worth.

One thing puzzles me, though. You know how, when you watch a video on YouTube, you also get a list of related videos? Course you do. Well, how come this UMC animation is thought to be related to a video of a hungarian teacher doing a strip tease in the classroom?

Golly-gosh, yee-hah, and so-phey-hop-key, them thar Meth-o-dists sure are something else again. If, after drawing lots, I send in five Frosted Flakes box tops and seven Skippy Super-Crunch peanut butter labels, can I be a Meth-o-dist too? ;) Oh, and loved the name of the animator: “Killmaster”!

Mind, I’d like to see the Reformed equivalent - and see what it makes of Salem, Christmas, and the phenomenon of “bundling” (which, by the way, apparently originated in Wales!).

Gotta love the retro. We’ve used that in confirmation class a few times.

i’m glad to see it on the net again. with it being kinda dated now, its a corny yet fun & truthful piece of our story
