I’m kicking myself. They’ve been filming for the new Dr Who series in Swansea this week — and I missed it. I know the fellow making the models for the series (his mother is a member of my church) and I’m a bit peeved he didn’t “tip me the wink” so that I could go and watch them.
To say that I’m looking forward to the new series is an understatement. Christopher Ecclestone should make a good Doctor, and anything with Simon Callow in it is going to be worth watching. And Tom Baker as the Master would be wicked!

On a side note, my ancestors came from Wales in 1683. William ap John came over with a bunch of other Quakers who were fleeing persecution.

Didn’t you know?? They closed off most of the Sainsbury’s side of the Marina with loads of policemen and everything.
Somehow horse-drawn carriages are involved….. not sure how. Yet!!

Why on earth are they filming a Victorian setting in swansea? Where on earth si there any remnant of a victorian setting in Swansea?

Oh dear, Tom Baker is quite corpulent these days. Great voice, but really, to be believable the Master simply *must* be able to get through doors, and not just double doors.
Now look here, I have a bone to pick with you. Aside from being a Christian, I am also an avid Doctor Who fan, and I run the most read Doctor Who fanfiction site on the entire web—ALWAYS THE THIRD DOCTOR. Furthermore, I am a right wing God-blogger who takes Christian Fundamentalism to task over and over again because of the rampant sexual sins (including a hefty bit of child molestation) that goes compleyely unaddressed and unchallenged in Independent Fundamental Baptist churches. You really ought to link to my blog! It’s at this URL:

There! Now I’ve said it.
