That was an excellent blog. Even Jesus said that he came into
this world not to abolish the Law and Prophets but to fulfill
them. Her student is going to go far and into a blessed ministry.
My sermon on Christ the King fell to pieces right after the
opening illustration. I’m still young.

Sermons ae strange beasts, aren’t they? You never quite know how they’re going to be until you preach ‘em!
But even if your sermon fell apart Eugene, remember that the congregation may have heard something completely different. It’s important that we do our best with the structure, delivery, illustrations and stuff. But not so important as the activity of God’s Spirit moving among his people. Even our feeblest efforts get used - because the gap between our feeblest and our best is not that great!
