Hyperactive artist. Was he/she paid per drawing?

Richard 02.12.11 at 9:25 am

I hope so!

Where’s the tea and scones? I’ll have the scones with plum jam and cream thanks. :)

Richard 02.12.11 at 2:42 pm

Scones are almost done - sorry for the delay.
Any preference in tea?

I bet you slaved all morning doing that baking. I’ll look forward to the next cup of coffee you make for me.

Those were the best scones I’ve ever had — but sadly, not here at home. A small and rather splendid cafe in Northern Ireland provided them.

Lovely. They look delicious!
btw, Richard, if that is you in the drawing on the right of your name, I didn’t realise you had such a trendy haircut. And a nice smile.

That is indeed me, as pictured by my daughter when she was about 4 yrs old. Back in the day, it was in the header of my blog.

So she’s somewhere around 14 now and you’re being an embarrassing dad? :D

Richard 02.13.11 at 12:42 am

Well, I haven’t exactly told her that I’m using it again. I did ask her last time, after all! But it’s true — I’m a constant source of embarrassment. Isn’t that in a dad’s job description?

Like, totally.
